Flexi Personnel Uganda is looking to recruit an agile fresh degree graduate in Human Resource to join our team as an HR Intern.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the HR manager to handle HR related matters and administrative duties.
- Properly handle client requests through responsiveness, follow-up, and escalation.
- Maintain a satisfied level of customer service with clients both internal and external.
- Handle client requests and deliver quality solutions if able or escalate the request to a more senior team member.
- Screening potential employees' resumes and application forms to identify suitable candidates to fill company job vacancies.
- Headhunting for potential suitable candidates for vacancies through different platforms. e.g., LinkedIn.
- Organizing interviews with shortlisted candidates.
- Preparing and posting job advertisements to job boards and social media platforms.
- Organizing Staff induction and onboarding programs.
- Updating the human resource information systems data.
- Undertaking training needs analysis, projections, and developing training programs.
- Implementing human resource management policies, regulations, procedures, and systems.
- Supporting Payroll processing.
- Support in the implementation of training programs.
- Participate in handling personnel grievances and other related matters.
- Coordinating the staff separation processes.
- Disseminating internal communication to staff in a timely manner.
- Any other duty as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree/Diploma in Human Resource Management or its equivalent.
- Minimum of A level education in high school
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Team worker and Detail-oriented.
