    Reports to: CFO

    Our client, Kenya’s largest furniture retailer with a prominent presence in three major cities; Nairobi, Mombasa, and Eldoret, is looking for a Data analyst to enhance their data-driven decision-making processes by developing and maintaining analytical models, creating performance reports, and identifying areas for process improvements.

    Job Purpose

    The Data Analyst‘s overall responsibility is to analyse organization data and prepare reports which guide in making strategic and profitable decisions.

    Key Responsibilities:


    • Develop key performance reports and update them on BI software

    • Update BI software with recent budgets and other comparative measurements

    • Train users on use of the BI software as may be required from time to time.

    • Ensure the BI software is reflecting consistent and accurate reports in all dashboards.

    • Ensure accurate stock rotation reports per category and SKUs are available in BI software and provide highlight of under or over stocked SKUs.

    • Provide a dashboard in BI software and spreadsheet with branch managers’ sales performance against the set budgets

    • Prepare monthly reports and share with all relevant persons as per the agreed timelines

    • Prepare and upload on BI footfall and invoice conversion reports

    • Provide highlight of daily sales performance category wise and per branch.

    • Perform any other duties as may be required from time to time.

    Education Qualification, Experience, Skills, and Traits


    • Education qualification in statistics, computer science or computing

    • At least 3 years’ experience working in a busy environment.

    • Well versed in the MS Office suite

    • Takes initiative and can work under pressure

    • Good at time management

    • Ability to work with minimal supervision

    • Good communication and presentation skills.
