QUALITATIVE FIELD INTERVIEWERS
LOCATION: GARISSA, KISUMU, MAKUENI, MARSABIT, MURANG’A, NAIROBI, NAROK, TAITA TAVETA, TURKANA, UASIN GISHU, AND VIHIGA
The African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC) is a premier research-to-policy institution, generating evidence, strengthening research and related capacity in the African research and development ecosystem, and engaging policy to inform action on health and development. APHRC seeks to drive change by developing strong African research leadership and promoting evidence-informed decision-making (EIDM) across sub-Saharan Africa.
APHRC is implementing a research project, titled “Foundational Learning in Kenya” study. The overall objective of this study is to investigate what pedagogical approaches teachers use in foundational learning, how teachers change their pedagogical behaviour, and why they make certain pedagogical decisions during instruction.
APHRC seeks to recruit 66 qualified and experienced qualitative field interviewers who are residents of Garissa, Kisumu, Makueni, Marsabit, Murang’a, Nairobi, Narok, Taita Taveta, Turkana, Uasin Gishu, and Vihiga. The study will take place in May and June 2025.
