SUN Mobility is looking for dependable and quick-responding ERT Support Riders to provide on-road battery swap and technical support to EV users using ERT (Emergency Response Team) vehicles. 

JOB PURPOSE

The role is focused on delivering fast, safe, and efficient support to stranded or low-charge electric vehicles by swapping batteries or performing minor roadside fixes.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Respond to on-call service requests for battery swaps or minor roadside support using ERT vehicle.


• Ride to designated locations and assist EV users with battery replacement, basic troubleshooting, or diagnostics.


• Carry and handle charged batteries safely, ensuring correct swap process at the roadside.


• Use mobile apps or handheld devices to log service requests, swaps, and customer acknowledgments.


• Communicate with the operations/control team to receive and update on job assignments.


• Perform safety checks and cleanliness of ERT vehicles before and after each shift.


• Maintain clear records of battery handovers, mileage, and service activity in logbooks or apps.


• Coordinate with QIS teams in case of faulty battery returns or station issues.


• Educate customers briefly on correct usage or safety practices if needed during the visit.


• Report recurring issues or high-frequency failure areas to the ERT Supervisor for analysis.


• Follow traffic rules, safety protocols, and wear company-approved uniform/PPE while on duty.


• Ensure batteries are secured properly in the ERT vehicle to avoid damage or short circuits.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS.

• Diploma or Certificate in any relevant field.


• 1–3 years of experience in field support, courier, or delivery riding roles preferred.


• A valid two-wheeler driving license is mandatory.


• Familiarity with EVs, battery swapping, or mobile-based tracking apps is an advantage.


• Good knowledge of city/local routes for quick response.


• Physically fit and capable of lifting or handling EV batteries.


• Courteous, reliable, and disciplined approach to field support tasks.


• Basic communication skills in English and local language
